Keeping an eye out for used mattresses and electronics, as well as kitchen items, clothing, tools, pots, and plants at yard sales are Jill’s favorite finds, as these are things that are costly but needed at home. Jen likes looking into games like board games, sports equipment (especially for upcoming kids’ sports in the fall), and holiday decor, including cards and wrapping paper. There are many affordable and useful items at yard sales, provided they are in good condition and have been properly maintained.
