This Week’s Money Move: Track your food

Your meals are your business. Always.

But if you’re hoping to stretch your grocery budget a little more, it helps to know what those pancakes are actually costing you.

Instead of just side-eyeing an $18 prepared meal, try breaking it down.

That meal might look pricey, but if it has 8 servings? That’s only $2.25 per serving and won’t require extra time in the kitchen or send you stressing over coming up with a side dish.

Jen and Jill’s latest reel has the math so watch it to see what we’re talking about.

This Week’s Money Move is to: Track your Food 🍣

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Track everything you eat for 3 days

  2. Find out how much your meals, snacks, and drinks actually cost

  3. Then see if there are foods you can replace them with that are lower cost and just as filling or more filling

Moral of the story: Get the data first then make the changes that help. Because you’re not “bad” at groceries, you’re probably just tired and busy and you’re allowed to make it easy on yourself. ✨
