Happy Monday!
Two months ago, I (Goldie) won a $145 hotel voucher from an email that was almost deleted. True story.
It makes you wonder: How many other amazing stuff have landed in the trash folder?
While inbox clutter might still be a battle, that win is a great reminder to set up a system for catching deals before they disappear.
So this week’s money move is something we’re sure you’ll love.
This Week’s Money Move is to: Create a Free Resources List 📝
It’s a simple, ongoing list of places and sites that offer free entertainment, events, and perks for things you already enjoy.
-
Make a list of all the things you like to do that could have a free component. Download this list of 52 Free Activities you can use to inspire your list.
-
Sign up for the email lists of all the places on your list
-
Filter them to a hidden folder or the subscription tab in your inbox
-
Then set a filter for any email that has the word “Free” in it to categorize to your Primary tab or add a “Free Resources” label (that’s our preference).
The next time you’re bored or tempted to spend, just check that folder. No more spending money on things you can get for free!
And head to @weeklymoneymove on Instagram to see the video for this week’s move!
And if this email didn’t land on your trash, we could use your help!
If you’ve been enjoying what we share, it would mean the world if you took a moment to nominate us Best Podcast for Best of Tampa Bay 2025. Thanks for being part of this!

Bill of the Week
🫢 Bills you forgot to pay 🫢
Not because you didn’t have the money, but because it just slipped your mind.
Have we ever mentioned that our Spending Planner has an easy-to-use bill calendar that ensures you’ll never miss a due date again?

This digital bundle includes everything you need to build a budget you’ll actually stick to, so it’s perfect for people who want their money to reflect their values and not just their bills.
If you’re starting out, starting over, or need a reset, this might be worth checking out.

Warmest ☀️
