Curious if there’s one true, real passive way to earn money without doing anything? It’s possible, but it’s not that easy. In today’s episode, Jen and Jill share seven ways to bring in more income in 2026 by making the system work for you.
The more time money has to sit in the market, the more it makes.

Build Once, Earn Many Times
Jen and Jill explore seven ways you can earn passive income, covering low-cost and zero-cost options with clear beginner rules. They explain what each method is best for, where you can monetize most effectively, what’s easy or challenging, and the winning formats and secrets to maximize your results.
They cover YouTube, affiliate marketing, digital products, mini-courses, self-publishing, and investing, breaking down what each one is best for and how much effort it takes.
Use What You Already Have
Jen and Jill suggest starting with what you can offer, which usually begins with what you already have or already know. Each of us has a niche that can be useful to others, especially if there’s someone you can help by sharing a skill or experience. This could be explaining a topic, reviewing or commenting on a product, creating templates, or recommending things you already use.
Whatever that skill is, you can build on it and explore passive income options that require low effort or even zero startup cost. They emphasize that this isn’t about taking one course and waking up rich, but it’s also not as difficult as it seems.
First passive income you’ve ever tried? How did it go?
Jen looks back to her first passive income and it was affiliate marketing! Meanwhile, Jill digs into it and remembers they used to have a lifestyle vlog.

I just love Jen and Jill. Their podcast is one of my favorites and so I bought this on audiobook. I’m really glad I did because it was just as enjoyable of a listen as the podcast. This book isn’t a nuts and bolts finance book. It’s way more than that. This gets into what money is as a tool and what emotions dance around money. The soul of what life is like dealing with money and making decisions that uphold your values and goals rather than budget graphs and piles of numbers on a chart. If you’re sick of a capitalist society and Dave Ramsey in equal measure, but know you still have to buy stuff and pay attention to finances, this will help you keep your soul intact at least.
